Dragon-house of Ochi: The famous Dragon-houses still constitute a mystery about their origin and their use .The most famous and well maintained is the Dragon-house of Ochi which is located in southern Evia altitude of 1.440m. at the top of Ochis. Many insist that it is a simple residence but they also do not exclude its magic use while it is directed in the time of concrete constellations.
The glen with the butterflies: You can find this glen after the village of Platanisto. Every year It is constituted by abundant running waters which create a small waterfall. You will meet one splendid bridge similar with Zagoritika which is “sunk” in the glen with enormously planes. You can also find there a traditional watermill and a natural swimming-pool with frozen potable waters in which you can dive fearlessly.
Karistos: It is famous from ancient years because of its rocks and especially for its known marble cipollino which was used by emperors.Except from its known rocks, it has a beautiful port with nice taverns under the shade of a one big order of mulberries.In the east side of the port it is located the known Mpourtzi, a square castle of 13th century.Further more every year in Karistos people have various fishery contests. |
